It makes too much work to dirty up serving dishes to take everything to the table. If my oldests wants seconds, or my husband, then they get that themselves.Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16372606645984510572noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6073231987777520786.post-73125174486757568962012-11-16T13:16:14.373-05:002012-11-16T13:16:14.373-05:00Nope, he is a big boy and can dish up his own plat...Nope, he is a big boy and can dish up his own plate. I got into this debate with a coworker a while back, then posted the question on Facebook to my friends and was shocked how many people serve their husbands and family. It's all people for themselves at my house. :)Bugglesnughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11838108328428324848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6073231987777520786.post-91313347556691018742012-11-16T10:38:58.606-05:002012-11-16T10:38:58.606-05:00I guess that's why I do it too - it makes me f...I guess that's why I do it too - it makes me feel like I'm taking care of him. I serve him, then it's a free-for-all for the three boys. I cover his plate and set it aside. He doesn't have to worry about them eating all the meatballs,(for example) and I don't worry about him piling a mountain of food on. He's trying to not overeat and I am helping him out. I think it's mostly just a loving gesture, though.Rustown Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12970069327566577570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6073231987777520786.post-74208271643663718402012-11-16T07:46:50.834-05:002012-11-16T07:46:50.834-05:00Yes, whoever's cooked dishes up for both of us...Yes, whoever's cooked dishes up for both of us.
