Hey! It's Almost My 2 Year Blogiversary!

120/365, originally uploaded by hopestudios1.

I skipped right over this important day last year; it came and left in a wink of an eye. But this year, I'm on it! And what special thing do I have planned for you? How about a prize for one lucky reader? Do you love dining room furniture and cookware? Me too! And guess what??? Jason from Cookware.com and Diningroomsdirect.com has come to our rescue by offering a prize! Cool, right?

So, Jason is all like, "Hey Juniper, want some free stuff?" And I was all like "Woot, dude! What do you have in mind?" and he was all like, "Go shopping, girl!" So, I did!

At first, I forgot I was shopping for you and hit up the dining room furniture, it was mind boggling! I'm totally getting this bar stool, it matches a set I have and I need just one more. It totally matches!

But then I thought, "Um, Juniper? Hello??? You don't know EVERYONE'S decor! Geez!" so I hopped on over to Cookware.com to pick the perfect Juniper-esque prize (shut up spell check!).

Man, do I love to cook. I used to sell kitchen products at one time (as you know) and despite all the great gadgets out there, nothing beats a great knife. It's the one thing I always recommend to make your life easier and make cooking fun. What's my favorite style of knife? No brainer, a Santoku knife, silly!

Check this baby OUT!

I love this knife and use it every day. (**TIP: Grasp the handle while kind of pinching the heel of the blade with your thumb and your index finger for a proper, controlled grip. DON'T hold your index finger on top of the blade. I've seen this many times and it makes your grip all wonky. Remember "if you feel the steel, your grip is real", this will help you remember the proper grip for your new knife.)

See?

So, this is my prize for YOU! A beautiful Santoku knife worth it's weight in gold (or 50 bucks, same diff). What do you have to do? Just post a comment here between now and February 1st saying "Yo, Juniper! Can I have the knife?" or something like that.

I hate when people ask for followers or make you jump through all kinds of hoops. I'll use Random Number Generator to choose a winner. So, let's just have fun with this and if we give ol' Jason a chuckle with our comments, so be it.

So......Who wants the knife???

This contest has ended - thank you for your entries!
