Loving PicMonkey!

Editing pictures is one of my favorite hobbies.  I love to take an ordinary shot and elevate it to something spectacular.  I used to play around with Picnik all the time, and then they shut down the site.  Sigh...my house has been a bit cleaner following the shut down, I have to say!

Well, stop the presses, Gypsy Pioneer hopped on at the tail end of my link up last week and gave me one of the best bits of news I've had in 6 months!  A replacement for Picnik was available - PicMonkey!  It was easy to use, it had lots of effects, and it had the catchy lingo I'd grown to love from my once fave site.

So, I started messing around...

Did you love Picnik?  Have you already heard of PicMonkey?  What photo editing software do you use?

  1. I love PicMonkey! I don't know when we are going to have to start paying for all the special stuff but they have so much to offer and it is so easy to use, I know I will be willing to throw some cash their way!

  2. I love PicMonkey, too, and added it to my toolbar menu so i can hop on whenever. I like to use it to put my son's watermark on his masterpieces. (:

  3. I've been using PicMonkey for awhile now. It was actually started by the people from Picnic.

  4. I used picmonkey more before I got lightroom( which I adore for editing pics). Picmonkey has better photo actions and you can do amazing things with their help. Congrats on learning something new!

  5. I got hooked on PicMonkey last spring - it is fun, especially for quick photo collages.
But I used my PSE10 for the majority of my editing, going to www.thecoffeeshopblog.com routinely for free downloadable actions!
