Have You Seen That Movie?

I follow a local blogger The 'Burgh Baby on facebook and she posed an interesting questions last week:

What movie, that everyone assumes everyone has seen, have you NOT seen?

Mine is Star Wars...I know, I know.

What is yours?

  1. I can't get behind those stolen cars movies. (Speed?) Also, anything with Die Hard in the title. Also, I never saw the Notebook or The Breakfast Club. It's like the 80's were a movie black hole for me...

    1. I feel like I need to have a Breakfast Club intervention with you! If you hear a knock at the door, it's just me coming over with coffee and the dvd I just bought at Walmart for $5 last week!

  2. Avatar (although it's been on on our DVR for months). I've seen the musical, but I never saw the movie Les Miserable-just wasn't never up for the emotional roller coaster and all the singing.

    1. Avatar was one of those movies I saw really late too. Once I watched it on tv I really wished I had seen it on a big screen :(

Les Mis chewed me up and spit me out. Don't watch it until you need a really good cry day.

  3. Top Gun ~ I always get strange looks when that one comes up and I have no idea what people are talking about :)

And reading above ~ I had no interest in Avatar. But we rented a lake home and that was one of the movies they had there so we popped it in and I really liked it! And I haven't yet, but definitely want to see Les Mis.

  4. Since we had that conversation about favorite movies years ago, I've still never seen Legends of the Fall! Please knock on my door with a copy of that movie!

  5. I've never seen Star wars either. My husband is appalled by the fact. But the movie that my husband THINKS i've seen but I never have is Blazing Saddles! ANd that's horrible considering I'm a Mel Brooks fan!

  9. long standing debts, keep our remaining staff clothed and fed, and get five reissue projects into production*. While we're not out of the woods yet, we're doing a far sight better than we were before this whole Hydra Health™ Plan was initiated. Though our path out of the dark is still dim and strewn with obstacles, there is certainly hope for the future that we'll be able to continue repressing our back catalog, thanks to everyone who's helped shed some light along the way - and to all of those people, we are very grateful indeed.

  10. Helms Alee
Next up on the agenda is the new album in the works from Hydra Head alumni Helms Alee. Saddened as we are by our inability to participate in the release of this album, we're happy to announce the band themselves are shouldering the duty of releasing it. In an effort to raise the necessary funds to make the record happen they've launched a Kickstarter pre-sale campaign with some pretty sweet packages on offer for potential backers. To watch their superbly crafted promo video and score a copy of what is sure to be one of the best albums of the year go here to pledge your support:
