Picky Eaters

If I hear one more complaint about what's for dinner this winter I just might lose my mind.  I need help, people!  Share your favorite recipe that everyone in the family actually likes...pretty please?

    I don't have a recipe, but I made eggrolls the other night and baked them instead of frying them and they were a huge hit and didn't make my house smell like a greasy dinner.
    You didn't say healthy, but here are my kid's top 3. I am checking back, bc I am in the same boat sister. However, our house went on the market yesterday, so I suspect a lot of frozen will be in our future.

  2. The only things my whole family will eat is pizza and hamburgers. My situation is a bit more difficult because my son has Autism, and only eats a handful of things.

    My husband, daughter, and I will all eat:
    chicken alfredo (jarred sauce)
    meatloaf (follow instructions on the back of the mccormick meatloaf seasoning, except I use ground turkey. I also form them into big meatballs so they cook faster and get a nice crust.)
    beef stew (lightly browned stew meat, sautee'd onions and mushrooms, beef broth, 2 brown gravy packets, potatoes, carrots, and some flour to thicken. All tossed in the crock pot on high for 5-6 hours.)

    Dr. Martin's Mix by Peg Bracken is the all-time favorite at my house. All FOUR kids gobbled it up every time I made it, and it's super simple. I serve it with a veggie and sometimes, a freezer veggie or a salad. Never any leftovers!

I make it a point to rotate thru four different grocery stores. Each one gives me a different set of ideas.   6. And this....I just use regular rice, not fried.


  7. And this one too. I bake it at 350 for 40 minutes (turning halfway) instead of grilling. I don't use the coriander and serve it with rice.
