Feedback Friday - The Great Corn Controversy

True or False:
It is the end of the world if you shuck corn in the kitchen sink...
(Yes, I am dragging you into my petty spousal arguments)

So, WHERE else is there to do it?! The sink definitely sounds like the best place to me!
ReplyDeleteOk, I prefer outside...just to keep things cleaner (as if..) But, the sink is a nice alternative!
ReplyDeleteI do it in the sink, but I prefer when my husband takes the kids outside to do it ~ then I don't have to:)
ReplyDeleteWell, I think it's perfectly fine to "sink-shuck", as long as you don't run the shucks down the garbage disposal...
ReplyDeleteI was recently told (by Roto-Rooter-Man) that "the garbage disposal is not a food processor"...which was a (FOR REAL) shock to me! Let's just say I had spaghetti coming out of my roof...(long story!)
Happy weekend!
It's probably not, but I cannot stand the cornsilk getting everywhere in my sink and kitchen. I shuck mine at the grocery store.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely NOT the end of the world. Men should not concern themselves with such things!!
ReplyDeleteUm, no. I don't think so. However, it is messy. The silk gets everywhere. I prefer outside. Actually I prefer the kids to do it outside, while I watch lovingly from the kitchen window. ;)
ReplyDeleteIf it's rainy though, nobody's gonna bite that bullet, so it's done in the kitchen sink.

P.S. If you get a chance, Jen I have a award for you over at The Zoo.
Um, I thought that was where you were supposed to do it. Maybe over a grocery bag in the sink, but that is as far as I go.
ReplyDeletedepends on who has to clean it all up ... personally, I'm with Misha - shuck at the market.
ReplyDeleteInside...in the kitchen sink...perfect. Why are husbands even allowed in the kitchen, they just make a bigger mess...well mine does! lol
ReplyDeleteI love "Feedback Friday" posts. OK, I hate to be a party pooper, but I hate corn. Aside from that, when we get it (and I'm not eating it), we use the sink. Like Sandra said, I guess there's nowhere else to do it.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay to shuck corn in the sink as long as you are the one cleaning up the mess!! That's my rule

Of course you do it in the sink! Where else would you do it?!
ReplyDeleteFrom what I understand, it is indeed the end of the world. In fact, it may even be the end of the whole galaxy. It's that bad. So I just shuck it into the trash can.
