The Big Guy really digs his mouthwash. He buys really big bottles of it at Costco. Really big, ugly bottles of it. This is what I used to see whenever I walked into our bathroom...
Now I see this...
Ahhhhh. One quick trip to T.J. Maxx, and I just made big, ugly mouthwash pretty.

Nice job! My dad does the same thing, to my mom's dismay. A decanter might be in her future.

Really great idea. My husband does the same thing, but I hide his in the linen closet.
ReplyDeleteWell. I just might have to do just that. Beautiful bottle.
ReplyDeleteVery cool...nothing like making that bathroom junk look beautiful!! Now...if only you had a great way to display...ahem...our feminine products...!! They take up too much space in my cupboard...!!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I want to find a quality hard plastic one that looks like glass. I just know my husband would drop the glass one and break it!
ReplyDeleteYou are so smart! It's the little things that make me smile!
ReplyDeleteMy friend does the same thing. He has a cut crystal glass he uses to rinse with as well. Shane is a bit more formal than I am at my house. It's fun to be a "grown up" at his house.

I'm so glad someone else does this. Makes me feel less crazy. I also pull labels off lotion bottles, deodorant and the like (it's amazing how often the giant label is what bugs me), or I get pretty boxes to stash small things in. If I have to look at it every day, it doesn't seem unreasonable to want it to look nice! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! (I'm the one with the big ol' jug)
ReplyDeleteOh - Love it! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteNow if only I can squeeze the toothpaste into something prettier!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea ;-)

ReplyDeleteBrilliant! I've got that same ugly bottle sitting in my bathroom right now!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea! Maybe I will try that with the beautiful decanter that has sat in the box for the past 10 years in the basement!!!
ReplyDeleteI just saw one of these at the Goodwill this morning......I may have to run back!
