Did you hear about the British TV show where couples have sex in an opaque sound-proof box and then discuss it with a panel of experts? http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/entertainment/2013/09/sex-box-too-much-sex-for-tv/
Really?! I'm British and I had no idea about this!! One of our channels has had this 'campaign for real sex' series running, they looked at the effect of porn on brain activity, lots of sex ed programmes etc. I haven't watched any myself, can't seem to get around to it :)
I think the entire concept is bizarre for a myriad of reasons. We have talk shows over here, where people talk about all their personal problems and issues, which I've always thought was weird enough. I try very hard to keep my "crazy" under wraps and certainly don't need it broadcast.
(OMG, Tara! And I thought American TV was the tackiest!) The whole thing between Miley and Sinead - is that really news? I saw it listed as "trending". We are becoming the dumbest people ever. And by "we" I mean the folks who read the trash tabloids and care about these celebrities are doing with their lives...having stated that, I really don't have a good topic for you. I'm cleaning my house, getting ready for my 40 hour week which starts on Saturday.
So, is it embarrassing that my husband had no idea your government was in shut down? I just read an article about chaplains who are paid by the government and who face arrest if they hold services this weekend, including weddings, baptisms & mass. Am I right in thinking they knew this could happen, but let it go to shut down?!
If you mean, did our government shut down on purpise, then yes, yes it did. The houseand Senate are in disagreement and the President has started that he is not willing to negotiate so because congress can't work together thousands of government employees are out of work, or in some cases, working for no pay. Government programs are also being affected as funding runs out.
