I tried the banana tip I have seen several times online - wrap the stem end of the banana bunch with plastic wrap to slow the ripening process....
It worked! I would say that though my bananas continued to soften, they stayed yellow twice as long! Pinterest winner!
I have not heard this tip, but am definitely going to have to try it out. I am constantly putting overripe bananas in the freezer.

ReplyDeleteI had seen the tip, but I hadn't tried it. I tried the tip that said to separate the bunch, but they went brown just as fast. I'll definitely try this one now!
