So, I'm a vivid dreamer. I can usually remember at least one dream each morning.
I talked about my strange and twisted dream life a few years ago and I'm happy to say that many of those dreams have phased out...only to make way for newer, more twisted recurring dreams.
My latest recurring dream/nightmare involves being in some sort of public place, like a mall, and looking for a bathroom. Once I find the bathroom, always located right in a main traffic area like in the hallway or something, I begin to look through a maze of stalls. I have trouble finding one because they are all so public, I mean shoppers are walking right past the stall doors with their Macy's bags!
Usually, once I find a stall and start to "go" I realize that the stall either has another door connecting to a neighboring stall, or no back wall, or really short walls and I'm looking right at the person beside me...etc... I jump up and the search begins again to find a safe, private place to go to the bathroom.
It's maddening! It's frustrating! It's stressful! It goes on and on!
What in the world does it mean? Well, I went to the online dream analyzer and discovered it could mean I have frustrations with getting enough privacy in my daily life, or I have difficulty expressing my emotions. Bathroom dreams can also indicate "issues of control, rebellion, and independence". Eh...maybe...
It's Feedback Friday...
