hmmm...definetly similar...but Viva la Vida gets on my nerves...
ReplyDeleteWelcome Weekend! And Happy FD to the Big Guy!
I'm with Jen, Viva la Vida gets on my nerves too. But I have to agree - they sound similar. I guess Satriani thinks where there's smoke, there's fire.
ReplyDeleteI love your Feedback Friday!
Hmmm I don't know. I definitely hear a resemblance, but that happens all the time in the music world. If you were to ask me which song is more rockin', I would easily go with Satriani. I think that pretty much settles it: Judge Holly came to the decision that Coldplay is guilty on the grounds of not quite rocking hard enough.
ReplyDeleteThe ending tones are obviously different, and Satriani is just getting more publicity. To those who have viva la vida on their nerves, stfu. I enjoy both satriani and coldplay, but this is jsut pointless, music is bound to sound similar sometimes. soon we might even copyright birthnames for money.
