A beautiful end of summer night, a pack of sparklers from the Dollar Store, and some sparkly fun!
A quick note...though I'm no photographer, I do subscribe to the belief that camera flash is evil. It just ruins the moment, it creates the dreaded red eye, it washes or blows everything out. Just compare the first photo taken with flash to the remaining photos taken without.
You can see the glow and the motion in the last four pictures that just isn't there in the first one. There is some blurriness, but I think the feeling of being there more than makes up for it.
So, turn off your flash right now and go take some pictures!

ReplyDeleteI miss the sparklers of my childhood! They are banned where I live in CA. Course, anything fire like in CA right now is a bad thing. Sparklers are so much fun!

I couldn't agree more about taking photos without the flash - although conversely, taking daytime photos with the flash actually improves the lightening!
