We do exactly the same thing - head to Elgin, Tx and pick out a tree, cut it down, and bring it home. Along the way we stop for BBQ at Southside Market, along with dozens of other folks with trees in their trucks and on their car's roofs. So fun! And you can't beat the smell of a real tree (:

We are cheaters... we go to a farm about 5 minutes away and pick one of the ones they have hanging from inside the barn :) Looks like you all picked a great tree! And fabulous pic of you and the boys :)
