I pinned an idea for Cinnamon Bun Waffles onto my Cookin' Mama board last week - it originated at Simply Designing.

How easy! Cook a cinnamon bun, from the pressurized cans, in the waffle maker. I tried it and it really was that simple!
I didn't use my Belgian waffle maker, just my ordinary thin waffle maker, and I was able to fit a waffle in each of the four compartments. Preheating and cooking took about 5 minutes and it was a fun weekend breakfast treat for the kids!
You can top with syrup, like I did, or spread a little of the cream cheese frosting on top. Easy Peasy!
I give this Pin a Pass!
What Pins have you tried lately? Drop me a link so I can check it out.
I was wondering if this actually worked.....Thanks Jen!
ReplyDeleteoh that sounds really good!
ReplyDeletegood to know - I saw that pin too and was curious about whether it would really work or not.
ReplyDeleteAwesome and good to know! I pinned this months ago but have been a bit wary of using my reg. non-Belgium waffle maker. We'll be doing it this weekend fer sure!
ReplyDeleteFYI I did oil the plates just like I would for waffle batter. Before you try it I thought I should mention that!
ReplyDeleteI tried the cinnamon swirl pancakes! Definitely worth it!
ReplyDeleteI pinned the same thing and was thinking about trying it! Thanks for confirming that it worked- I will have to try it now! :)

I made a bandana quilt for my friend that is having a baby. I posted a picture of it on Sunday on my blog. It was really easy, and I think it turned out really cute. She loved it. Actually it was so easy I think I may make a couple to just leave around the living room for snuggling while watching TV.
ReplyDeletei give it a fail just because of the effort to clean the waffle iron after.
