At a cookie exchange this week, one of my friends began to shush anyone discussing presents of any kind because her preschooler was in the next room and, in her home, Santa brings all gifts. I asked her "You don't get your kids anything from you?!?" and she said she didn't and then the conversation switched to each of our family's traditions regarding the Big Guy in Red...
