You are really going for the hard-hitting controversial issues this week. I'm no fashion guru, but if she's worried, than maybe she shouldn't. I don't think weddings are the place to make fashion statements. You want everyone to be talking about the bride's dress-not yours.
Are sequins the little plastic glitter thingies that are so incredibly hard to sew on and that easily come off? I´m just asking, because I think we call them Palietten over here, so I was curious if you are talking about what I think you´r talking about.
I think this depends, and depends on a few things really. Firstly are the sequins covering the dress entirely? What colour is the dress? What style of dress is it? I think if its a suitable style of dress for a beach wedding and the sequins dont make the dress too over the top for the style of wedding then go for it. :)
Ha, I read this, and the first thing that crossed my mind was to tell you that yes, she can wear sequins to the beach, as long as she does not go in the water...the sharks might confuse her for a fish....which by the way...is true.
not all sequin outfit are the same.
ReplyDeletesome are perfect beach-style. i say go for it!
Agree with Donatella. Depends on the outfit. Liberace? Nah.
ReplyDeleteI say...wear what makes her happy.

ReplyDeleteI really love the stuff that makes you squirm - sequins or no?!? What to do?? :)
DeleteDepends on the outfit, number of sequins, time of day, what type of reception will be given... Too little information to form an opinion.
ReplyDeleteAs long as the dress does not take away from the bride or the ocean, I say go for it.
ReplyDeleteWow! You mean there is a wrong time to wear sequins? I think sequins are acceptable anytime. Seriously.
ReplyDeleteNice comment.
