Writer's Block

I'm plum out of ideas for this week's Feedback Friday...

What should we discuss???

** Okay, we have a suggestion to discuss Kate Middleton's portrait that was unveiled this week:

This portrait has received a lot of criticism...what do you think?

  1. Catherine Middleton's new portrait hanging in the national gallery (unveiled today). Lots of critics have said she looks around 50. I quite like it but the artist could have made her look a bit less butch possibly?

    1. Great idea! I think it would be beautiful for an older woman, but she is sooo young and beautiful! It looks like she has wrinkles around her eyes!

    2. I agree, she's very young, pregnant, she should be blooming!

  2. I don't think it looks like her at all.

  3. I can see her looking like that in about 40 years but it does not accurately represent the way she looks today.

  4. I was washing dishes and came up w/ possible topics before you found one. First of all: Portrait=not good.
    My random thoughts of today:
    1. Best way to remove that fried grease smell from your home? (I made won tons. Tried lighting a cinnamon candle and now the house smells like a stale donut shop)
    2. The book "Major Pettigrew's Last Stand"-just finished it 5 stars and I am dying to discuss it.
    3. Acceptable comments to make to volunteers by the people sitting around not doing anything themselves include: "thank-you" and "how can I help". They never ever ever include the phrase "why didn't you..." Wish I was brave enough to say "step-up or shut-up".
    4. What color should I dye my hair?

  5. Oh my. That's a terrible portrait and makes her look much older than she is. Wow.

  6. I agree with all of the above ~ she looks so old......

  7. Why is she pursing her lips? This is an amazingly beautiful woman & they have done a straight on shot of her pursing her lips?
    So could have done better!

  8. Where is her beautiful smile and warm eyes?

  9. It doesn't capture her essence at all. It's kind of sad actually.

  10. She has a snarly expression and looks about 10 years older. So matronly and dated int hat top, too. why can't they afford a better painter? She's such a beautiful woman and this does her no justice at all.

  12. The painter didn´t like her, did he?

  13. Great article! That is the type of info that are meant to be shared around the web.
Disgrace on the search engines for no longer positioning this publish higher!

Come on over and seek advice from my web site .
    Thanks =)

  14. That portrait is definitely not good at all. I don't think it accurately depicts her, her personality or anything. Ugh.

  15. The more I look at this, the more I see Mckayla from the Olympics with her "not impressed" expression!

  16. I'm not in love with the portrait but I don't hate it either. I like that it doesn't picture her like a teenaged star... I remember at the wedding thinking that she was definitely not looking twenty anymore... I'd rather have her age gracefully than trying to stay young forever. Maybe I'm being mean and I like the portrait because it makes me feel good about myself!
