Tutorial Tuesday Wrap Up

So many projects...such little time...

Michele Made Me astounded me with this creation from her favorite crafting material: Toilet roll pincushion

Then I Can Find The Time continued in this theme with her Sewing machine pin cushion. This makes so much sense I can't believe we don't all have one of these!

Bromeliade Living saved herself a trip to the dollar store when she came up with this amazing, graphic Simple, Personalized Gift Wrap for graduation gifts.

Finding my Aloha taught us how to make Faux Milk glass and I will never look at a vase or bottle the same way again. I'm already planning a springboard tutorial using her instructions!

Joy Beadworks came up with this awesome Lego Cake that would delight any lego lover.

Got pine cones? The Paisley Cupcake did! You've got to check out this Pine Cone Tree Ring she came up with. Decorating back yard trees? Love!

Hungry? Try these summer faves:

Charm of the Carolines:: Fried Green Tomatoes

Sit Relax and Read: Strawberry Trifle

Serenity Now: Zucchini Bread

Living in Pottery Barn, USA

Time to recap my Tutorial Tuesday faves!

I'm totally making Marzipan's Fruit Tart for a 4th of July picnic we are invited to tomorrow:

Love this Pebble Mat from After I Finish This Row. It's so unique and earthy:

A few years ago, my kids would have gone crazy for this Children's Play Tent from Living with Punks:

And check out this gorgeous rosette pillow from Lemon Tree Creations:

Finally, while blog hopping around to some of my bloggy friends this week, Amanda, from Serenity Now, clued me in to a hilarious website called Catalog Living that had me rolling!

The premise behind this blog, is to poke fun at the room designs photographed for catalogs like Pottery Barn. In this imaginary world, Elaine and Gary live in these rooms. Snippet of conversations serve as captions for these staged rooms. Love it! Let's pay tribute to the imaginative author of this website.

I thought I'd try my hand at it and offer an impromptu linky party to anyone who wants to join me. Here is a photo from Arhaus Catalog:

Honestly, Gary, those darn birds are so spoiled!

Want to try it? Dig out your catalogs and either link up with a post of your own or come up with a caption to this photo. Come on try it, it's fun! I'll post the winner for my Sunday Funny.

Stuff I Learned - Tutorial Tuesday Wrap Up

Another great week! Thank you, everyone, for participating. If you would like to schedule a Tutorial Tuesday giveaway, contact me.

I don't know about you, but I cannot resist browsing the fat quarters at my local fabric store. I love all the color combos and the patterns all squished together on those shelves! Sew Chick and Unique will teach you how to sew a Fat Quarter Bag in about an hour - yes!

Upholstered headboards are EVERYWHERE in design mags these days. So much so, that The Big Guy even commented on them and how comfy they looked. Check out this Tufted Headboard Tutorial from Lemon Tree Creations.

Have I ever explained how much I love recycling projects? I thought not. Dollar Store Decor made a Tin Can Organizer that is easy, free, and customizable. Right on.

Mama Thompson has the same ugly window wells I have in the basement of my house...want to make them pretty? How to Update Your Window Wells

Stuff I Learned - Tutorial Tuesday Wrap Up

Before I begin, I want to assure everyone that I really do click each and every submission for Tutorial Tuesdays. I would love to comment on every one, but the total time to comment, do word verification, do word verification again because I messed up, then submit x 60 submissions is taking too much time when I have three rug rats asking me to play. So, thank you for being understanding and submitting anyway. I love everything I see!

My kids would have loved playing with this Pretend Mail Kit from Twelve Crafts til Christmas!

I actually lost my mind a little bit when I saw this Baseball String Bracelet from I Can Find the Time! Just look! Cute boy jewelry...L.O.V.E.

I really need to take the time to organize my stuff, especially my car, which is my mini home away from home (can I get an amen?). Leanne showed us a Car Organizer even I can make.

Let's do some cooking this weekend!

Strawberry Jam

Cast Iron Skillet Brownies, no mixing bowls!

How about some fresh Pesto for your pasta?

This week's winner of the $30 gift certificate from Oh Write is Kimbo's Crafts!

You can learn more about Kate, from Oh Write on her blog. Thank you for sponsoring!

Contact me if you would like to host one of our upcoming Tutorial Tuesdays!

Stuff I Learned - Tutorial Tuesday Wrap-up

Lemon Tree Creations almost always makes my list, this is a really cool blog! These girls have it organized into one day each for 5 friends who all contribute and that combined creativity and imagination makes for some really awesome posts! I loved the delicate Votive Covers they came up with this week, but it was tricky because I also loved their Photo Placemats!

Amanda's Cookin' made some cute Watermelon Cookies that would be so fun to serve at a summer picnic.

You won't believe the before shot of this $30 Craig's List Desk Chocolate Sundaes made over with paint and beadboard!

And, finally, The Treat Girl gets our tootsies all gussied up for the summer with some Foot Jewelry so we can look all Sex and the City when we go to the beach this summer! (doesn't she have the prettiest foot?)

The winner of the Antique Framed Chalkboard from The Magic Brush is Staci from Craftify It! Staci also contributed a Thank You Book that would be really cool if you are looking for a last minute teacher's gift.

Stuff I Learned - Tutorial Tuesday Wrap Up

Another great party - Here is some stuff I learned:

Brassy Apple blew my mind with this Wire Basket Chandy for her daughter's room!

I love a great lamp make-over and Lemon Tree Creations was inspired by Easter eggs of all things! Check out this great Lamp Re-Vamp.

Free projects using things we all have around the house rock! Recycle your old magazines by turning them into these cute Rolled Paper Flowers!

School is almost out and Holiday Haven has a whole system for watering our plants while we're away on vacation to save all our plants from shriveling in the hot sun. We might just get tomatoes around here this year!

Ever wondered how to make your own dog food? Looking Glass Jewels has a recipe for you!

Congrats to Denise from Wallflower Grown Wild! She won the camera strap slip cover from *Shey* [B]! Contact me and I will set you up with Shey, congrats!

Domestically Speaking came up with a great idea for a touching yet inexpensive Teacher's Gift

Living with Punks showed us how to make these awesome Land Of Nod inspired floor pillows that I'm in LOVE with!

C.R.A.F.T made this License Plate U.S. Map that astounded me! It is Fan. Tas. Tic.

And I haven't seen something as cute as At Second Street's Food Face Plates in a long time. I would love to eat lunch off these! My boys will die!

My scale will regret it, but I'm totally making Ur Baking Me Crazy's Praline Turtle Cake this week.

And I think I'm going to save Shelly's Butter Making Tutorial for this summer when I need a quick science project with the boys.

The winner of the Studio JRU gift certificate was Persnickety Peacock! Drop me a line and I will get you set up with Jennifer.

Well, that's just a sampling of what I learned. I wish I had more space here! I'll meet you back here tomorrow for my Sunday Funny. Have a great weekend!

Stuff I Learned - Tutorial Tuesday Wrap Up

Well, I learned a lot this week (again!) and here are a few faves:

Simply Modern Mom made this adorable Pillowcase Dress after scoring a pillowcase for less than $1 at the thrift store!

I fell in love with this Mother's Day Collage assembled by Live Laugh Make Something. It really captures the spirit of "boy" and made me smile.

And I was astounded by this Etched Window that At Second Street made! You have to read this tutorial, it's so doable and makes a huge impact!

Sarah, from Welcome to the Good Life, was back with an awesome Molly Hannah Inspired Necklace that is prettier than the original.

Janet taught all us non-knitters (say that 3 times fast!) to use old wool sweaters to get the job done on this Wrist Warmer Tutorial.

DebbieDoos wowed me again with the cutest ever Teacup Bird Feeders! I'm on a teacup hunt now!

And Fairies, French Fries, and Baby Kisses won me over with her blog name AND the recipe for these Potstickers! Let's make them for dinner this week!

And finally, the winner of the fun and funky camera strap from VM Jess is a commenter this week! The winner is....drum roll please... Lindsay! Congrats to you, a new visitor, I'll be contacting you shortly.

To learn more about VM Jess, you can visit her shop or her blog. Her camera straps could make a fantastic Mother's Day or even Father's Day gift. Tell her Juniper sent you!

Join me back here tomorrow for Feedback Friday to give your 2 cents. I'll give you an hint as to the topic...it begins with a "P" and ends with a "rom".

Stuff I Learned - Tutorial Tuesday Wrap Up

I fell in love with the yellow patio chairs from Debbie-Debbie Doos. Sometimes you just have to take a risk, and if that risk involves yellow spray paint? I'm in!

Jay n Sarah reworked a Target dress into an Anthropologie knock-off that would fool any fashionista. I've decided I need to stalk her and be her friend so I can bring over Target clothes and end up with couture!

You know how you sometimes see an idea and it makes you want to bonk yourself on the head and say "Doh!" Well, that is what I did when I saw Kimbo's Crafts pretty cord ties! They are cute - waaay cuter than the rubber bands and twist ties that are currently taming my cords!

Dahlia Lane included some awesome "recipes" for natural cleaning supplies she uses to keep her pad clean and green. Oh, it saves her a BUNCH of cash, too!

Whew, I learned a lot this week! Thanks for joining us again this Tuesday. Now, go make yourself Amy New Nostalgia's Teriyaki Bowtie Spinach Salad for dinner...

What are you waiting for? Oh, you want to know the winner of this week's giveaway to T's Etc. shop? Well, I don't blame you. If you are Gina from the Cannary Family Blog, this is your lucky day! I will be contacting you soon.

Still want more T's Etc? You can find her at her Etsy shop or her Blog. Tell her Juniper says hi!

Come on back tomorrow to weigh in on this week's Feedback Friday topic!
