Welcome SITStas! Hey Baby, It's my SITS Day!

Well, looky here! We’ve got some visitors! Some SITStas! Want to be my SITSta? Head on over to The Sits Girls to learn how. You’ll like it…you’ll become addicted to commenting and comments…I promise.




Okay, let’s talk. I’m just a mom who’s trying to find her way amid the piles of laundry and waves of testosterone. I’ve got 3 boys and a husband and my blog is a diversion from the daily grind of football, burps, and stinky farts.

I began an art business almost 2 years ago and a blog was a natural extension of this wing-stretching period of my life. At home I’m “mom” and “hon”… but here? Well, I’m just one of the girls. I like that. A lot. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you guys are my crack.

This blog is as scattered as my brain, one part tutorials, one part recipes, one part home decorating
one part entertaining, and one part random crap that sneaks in.

It adds up to one goofy blog. MY goofy blog and I love her. She’s all mine. (cue the kissy sounds)

    I LOVE the alphabet frames...what a brilliant idea! It feels like I failed kindergarten that I never pictured doing this: after all, I take pix of 'happy' or 'sad' looking objects and hand-make Valentines for framing...these would make exceptional gifts!

    You've got some great stuff going on here girl! That Guiness cake looked absolutely yummo, though I probably would have had all the beer drank before I could put it in a cake, its one of my weaknesses.
    Despite the fact that I do actually have a daughter, I too find myself outnumbered by testosterone on a daily basis too, probably why I cling to my crafting with such a fervor!

    Congrats on your SITS day! I'm loving your blog!!! We're a testosterone-dominated household too....which means lots of pee behind the toilet and lots of loud bodily functions...but it sounds like I don't need to tell you about that. Seems you already know all too well!!!

    And I just have to say......your birds in the bees post made me laugh out loud AND managed to scare the crap right out of me. I have a 10 year old son and I am dreading the "talk."
